Italian Language Course
There are four Italian CD-ROM software courses available: levels 1, 2, 3 and 4. They all use the same Linkword method to teach vocabulary.

They are designed so that after you have completed level 4 you will be able to read and understand the average newspaper article and speak and understand Italian in a wide range of situations.
They are ideal for anyone who has bought a property in Italy or who is going to live or work in Italy. The courses are also ideal for schoolwork as they cover all the major grammar points needed for GCSE

All the CD-ROM software courses allow you to hear each word when it is first presented, but an AUDIO only version is also available for levels 1 and 2.
This enables you to listen to the course in the car, on a personal CD player etc.
The two versions cover the same material for levels 1 and 2, and each approach is equally effective on its own. However for those who wish to learn by both seeing the text and listening to the course the two approaches are highly complementary.

The level 1, or level 1 and 2 courses are ideal for anyone who wants to travel to Italy for a holiday. Level 1 teaches an extensive vocabulary and basic grammar in just 10-12 hours, about 3 times faster than normal learning methods. At the end of level 1 you would be able to say, for example 'Where is the waiter?' What is the time?' or 'Help, I want an ambulance' or 'He wants the Bill' etc.

The level 2 course takes slightly longer to go through but after completing level 2 your vocabulary and grammar will be virtually doubled, and the increased number of verbs will allow you greater flexibility in speaking.

The levels 3 and 4 courses involve an increased intensity of grammar so that at the end of the course you will be able to write letters, use verbs in the past, present and future, deal with complex prepositions, and much, much more
